Vaccination Drive for the Staff of Bishop Cotton Schools

In the midst of the pandemic, the Old Cottonians’ Association, in collaboration with the school conducted a Vaccination drive on Friday the 16th of July 2021 for the Staff, Alumni and their families of Bishop Cotton Boys’ and Girls’ School .

The Vaccination Drive was inaugurated and blessed by Rt. Rev. Dr. P. K. Samuel – Bishop-CSI-KCD, in presence of Mr. Hemanth Sharan, Joint Commissioner-BBMP, an Old Cottonian, Prof. Dr. Edwin Christopher, Principal, Mr. Sunil Mysore Chairman-OCA. The Bishop greeted the dignitaries, members of the staff and Managing committee - OCA with a welcome note, a prayer & blessed for a successful drive .

It has been a most significant initiative of the Old Cottonian Association, in association with the BBMP and support of members of the Managing Committee, our associate well-wishers, Cottonian Volunteers to conduct the drive in helping humanity fight this pandemic.

The Bishop took the vaccine along with a few members of the board of management and pastors of the CSI Churches. The staff expressed their gratitude to OCA for having provided the vaccination in school.

We acknowledge our gratitude to Bishop Rt. Rev. P. K. Samuel, Principal, Joint Commissioner-BBMP, Dr. G. Srinivas – MHO-East Zone, doctors from BBMP and staff of the school to achieve our objective. We wish to thank the Saving Souls Foundation for the service of their ICU Ambulance provided in event of an emergency.

With a successful event, we hope to conduct another drive-in due course.
